This is a one off, the blue colour is a food dye mixed with the urethane, sprayed on then given a clear coat over it.The effect is a translucent teal colour, the brass clicker on top adds the final touch.

Something new! it's a hardwood model Rockbox but with a Bees wax finish, the bees wax changes the sound of the drum, it seems to have flatter deeper bass tone, I can't see how it would be deeper as the dimensions of the Rockbox are the same but it does.
Also you will notice my latest innovation..... not sure what to call it yet but it mimics the sound of a drummer hitting the drum stick on the rim of the snare drum.It's brass and attaches with velcro which makes it adjustable or removable, I've been playing with it and testing it out over the past month and I've decided I like it!
The brass timber and beeswax combo looks great.
Hopefully if I get a minute I'll put a sound file up and you can hear the difference.
